What is a Kuripé?

A Kuripé is a small blowpipe used to self administer Rapé (Ha-pey) plant remedies. Rapé is what westerners would know as snuff, which is taken usually in a ritual or ceremonial setting. Kuripés should not be confused with a Tepi which is by a shaman or practitioner to blow the Rapé into the recipients nasal cavity.
