As an entrepreneur I need to leverage differing skills to grow and sustain my business other than simply teaching yoga and serving the sacred medicine Kambo.

When you become self-employed, nobody tells you all the various tasks that come with it before you start, like for example: marketing, accounting, public relations, leaflet distribution, admin tasks (collecting money and scheduling appointments) as well as treating clients, doing CPD training and teaching and designing yoga classes (my main job really).

So, when recently I decided to refresh my website to include all the various activities and products that I offer to clients, it was again all down to me to write the whole new content of my website! It took me a while but I got there in the end.  Luck was on my side in this task as one of my yoga students is also a website proof-reader and I am so glad she offered to help me ensure the new website was well written! 

As proof reader she highlighted spelling and grammatical mistakes but also inconsistencies in the layout and format of the whole website.  I knew there were bound to be mistakes here and there but having written the whole content, I wanted someone else to read it with a fresh pair of eyes.  I am so grateful for Debbie’s services.  She worked quickly reviewing every single page of my website and sure enough she found quite a few mistakes and format discrepancies which I knew existed.  After her review, all the corrected pages were sent to me in pdf documents which could easily be printed to follow and then make all the corrections.

Also being a perfectionist myself, I find it very satisfying to know that the written content is accurate and now free of errors, particularly when it comes to a website that aims to educate and inform visitors like mine.
