Kambo Exceptions and Contraindications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Kambo has no known detrimental side effects.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

When responsibly administered is completely safe.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below is a list of contraindications which if a person has had or currently has should NOT take Kambo (this is not an exhaustive list).<\/p>\n\n\n

  • Serious heart issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Organ transplant.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Serious blood vessels issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Active ulcers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Serious adrenal insufficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Serious brain issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Undergoing chemotherapy or radiation treatments (and 6 weeks afterwards).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Any previous Oesophagus bleeding or rupture.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Serious mental health conditions,\u00a0excluding<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0depression, PTSD, and anxiety.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Seriously low blood pressure that requires medication.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Anyone recovering from a major surgical procedure.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women with babies under 6-months old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Within 6 weeks of giving birth.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Under 18 years of age.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    * If you are asthmatic, be sure to bring your inhaler with you.<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    *Diabetics need to bring insulin, testing strips, and food.<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

     <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Cautions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • People taking dieting or sleeping supplements.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Active drug or alcohol addiction.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Crohn\u2019s Disease\/Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Severe liver disease.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Severe injury or trauma to the Oesophagus from endoscopy.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Tumours in the throat.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ulcers in the throat.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Those who have or have had bulimia.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Gastro-intestinal reflux.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Chronic inflammatory response syndrome due to mould exposure.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Untreated eosinophilic esophagitis.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Violent\/Projectile vomiting.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Oesophagus Varices.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Portal Hypertension.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Do not fast for 7 days before or after taking Kambo.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Colonics, enemas and liver flushes should be avoided within 3 days before and after taking Kambo.  Water-fasting should be avoided within 7 days before and after taking Kambo <\/strong>(THIS IS NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE WATER-ONLY FASTING YOU WILL DO 10-HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR SESSION (you can have water, but not excessively, during this time). <\/strong><\/em>You will be instructed by me<\/u> to drink 1.5-2 liters of water about 10-20 minutes before I place the Kambo on<\/mark>.  It is STRONGLY ADVISED that you do not drink more than 4 litres of water during your treatment, including the 2 hours both before and after.<\/mark><\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Do not consume alcohol or other recreational substances 24-48 hours before or after your treatment.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • During menstruation (women on their period are more comfortable if they avoid Kambo. It can increase bleeding and cramping and can often cause light-headedness and sometimes even fainting).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Taken Bufo\/5MeO-DMT within 8 weeks.<\/strong><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Oesophagus Rupture<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      Since Kambo can cause violent vomiting, we need to have some caution around certain conditions that could weaken the oesophagus.\u00a0 These do not necessarily preclude you from experiencing Kambo, but it is advisable to make sure to let me know if you have been affected with anything that could have weakened your oesophagus.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


       Also note there are NO psychoactive compounds in Kambo medicine and is legal in most countries - check your before using Kambo.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
